Devizes-based flash security expert, Cardwave, has announced that its product, SafeToGo, a hardware encrypted USB flash drive, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2017 Computing Security Awards under the ‘Encryption Solution of the Year’ category.
Cardwave provides “specialist expertise” to organisations that need to secure and distribute their data on removable media.
The Computing Security Awards were set up to recognise the solutions and companies that have “most impressed” those charged with keeping their organisations secure. This year’s winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Radisson Blu Edwardian hotel in London on 12 October.
Paul Norbury, chief executive for Cardwave, said, “This is great recognition for SafeToGo which is a must-have for any business that wants to keep sensitive data safe on the move. In addition to being a simple, cost-effective solution to protecting important information when out and about, SafeToGo is EU GDPR compliant and SafeConsole compatible, great for larger organisations wanting to centrally manage multiple SafeToGo devices.”
