Outset Swindon the organisation that offers pre-start up and business start-up support is hosting an event to help entrepreneurs launch their new business.
The event will discuss crowdfunding, the new global finance trend where fundraisers seek backing from a ‘crowd’ of investors. People all over the world use crowdfunding to raise money for all sorts of things, including as a financing solution for new and existing businesses. In the UK alone millions of pounds are raised every year across more than 170 different crowdfunding sites.
Outset speaker Anthony Lovell de Souza will address the four main types of crowd funding, the key factors to ensure your crowdfunding campaign is a success, and will give examples of successful crowdfunding campaigns.
The event will take place on Friday 6 June from 10am-12:30 and will be hosted at Holbrook House, Station Road, Swindon.
There will be the opportunity for a Q&A session with Anthony and the opportunity to meet Outset clients Carl Benjamin and Lee Hallett to share their personal experiences of raising finance through crowdfunding and the Start Up Loan scheme.
Post event there is also the opportunity to have a coffee and network with the speaker and other likeminded people.
