Business networking events relaunched for the autumn

A series of popular business networking events, staged by leading Swindon chartered accountants Banks BHG, is relaunching next month.

Following the summer break, the free events will start on Wednesday September 16, with a breakfast for business professionals, from 7.30-9am. Other events include a breakfast focussing on content marketing, on November 4, and another analysing the Chancellor’s Autumn Statement. There is a mix of breakfast and after-work meetings, some themed and some general.

Banks BHG will also continue to host lunch meetings for the Swindon Friends of Automatic Enrolment, affiliated to a national organisation which supports payroll and finance professionals who are helping their clients to transition staff to automatic enrolment, also known as workplace pensions. The next meeting will be on October 20.

Richard Mathews, director at Banks BHG, based in Stratton, said the events were aimed at providing businesses with an opportunity to network, as well as gain understanding on different topics.

“Over the past few years, since we moved to our Stratton offices, we’ve run dozens of events, and had hundreds of business people attending,” he said. “It’s our way of supporting the wider business community as well as our business clients. We’ve had very good feedback on the events, and will no doubt add a few more to the calendar before the end of the year.”
