Bower & Bailey supports Outset Swindon Ask the Expert event

Lawyers Stephanie Nunley and Heather Reilly from the Swindon office of Bower & Bailey solicitors, were on the panel of experts at Outset Swindon’s Ask the Expert event on Thursday 5 February.

More than 40 people attended the event at the Platform, Faringdon Road, Swindon, the third of its kind that Bower & Bailey has supported. The aim of Outset Swindon Ask the Expert events is to enable newly established businesses to network with locally established business experts and professionals.

Speaking of this month’s event, Kim Smith from startup leisure transport business, Rota Motus, said: “Outset Swindon has been a godsend. I cannot recommend it enough.”

Outset provides pre startup and business startup support. It has helped over 21,000 clients explore enterprise as an option. Through its award-winning programme, which comprises workshops, one-to-one coaching and networking events, Outset has helped create 4,125 businesses and 4,559 jobs countrywide. Of these, 170 businesses, employing 191 people, have been supported by Outset Swindon.

Outset’s services help people, including the long-term unemployed, ethnic minority groups, women, under 25s and people with physical or mental disabilities, overcome barriers to enterprise.

At Outset Swindon Ask the Expert events, representatives from local companies and professional service suppliers answer attendees’ questions. The events allow new business owners to discuss and query topics with experts in an informal environment and network with fellow Outsetters and members of the Outset Swindon team.
