Book your place at next month’s Festival of Sustainable Homes

By Nick Batten on 24 April, 2024

Produced by the team at Swindon’s National Self Build & Renovation Centre (NSBRC) The ‘Festival of Sustainable Homes’ will take place on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th May (Doors open: 9am to 5pm).

This family-friendly show will highlight how we can live more sustainably in our homes and communities. It offers the latest advice on improving the energy efficiency of properties – for both new builds and existing homes.

The two-day festival will avoid ‘greenwash’ and offer genuine inspiration for anyone interested in creating well-designed, healthy homes, through exhibits, seminars, live demonstrations and an unrivalled lineup of experts.

A programme of free talks will provide relevant, up-to-date, guidance for both newcomers to house-building and skilled housing professionals.

The ‘Nature Zone’ will shine a light on charities and non-profit organisations that aim to improve our natural environment through targeted campaigns, free advice and educational outreach.

The event sponsor Good Energy is one of Britain’s greenest energy suppliers. Based here in the South West, it supplies 100 per cent renewable electricity sourced from independent British generators.
