Restaurant owner, DJ Kim has announced the opening of his brand-new Korean food shop, The Bap, which opened its doors in Swindon on Thursday 12th May.
The healthy Korean food restaurant will be the second owned by DJ Kim, with the first – Pick A Bap – being based in Farnborough, Hampshire.
The menu will be filled with authentic Korean food served with rice (Bap) and sweet potato noodles (JapChae) – some of the most popular Korean food options with tourists to the country. All dishes are cooked from scratch every day, using authentic sauces imported into the UK to ensure visitors to the restaurant get a real taste of Korea, and all dishes are well-balanced, making them some of the healthiest fast-food options on the market.
Some of the dishes that Kim suggests visitors try are the Korean Bibim Bap, Korean Fried Chicken and Chicken Katsu Curry. Furthermore, there are eight different Korean hot sauces for diners to choose from, ranging from white sauce to crazy hot sauce.
The Bap is located in Havelock Square, next to Poundland, opposite Costa Coffee, and will be open Mon-Sat 11:00am – 8:00pm and Sun 11:00am – 6:00pm.
DJ Kim, Owner of The Bap, commented, “I visited Swindon a few years ago with my family and loved the area. Our shop in Farnborough is incredibly popular and people love being able to try authentic Korean food without having to travel to London, and we hope that the people of Swindon will equally love our food.”
