Antique Bathrooms moves to Marlborough

By Anita Jaynes on 26 February, 2014

Antique Bathrooms a specialist supplier and restorer of cast iron English and French roll top baths has set up shop in Marlborough.

The company has been in business since 1991 and previously had a shop in the market town of Ivybridge, Devon. The business has recently been purchased by new owners Kim and Stewart Joyce.

Stewart said: “We moved the showroom to its new location in Marlborough, as we feel it is an ideal location to develop the business further with its excellent travel links. We picked Marlborough as we felt it has a similar feel to Ivybridge and the offices suit the market we are in, being a refurbished factory. We will be looking, when the time is right, to expand the team and hopefully this will come from the local area.”

The restoration facility will remain in Ivybridge where they restore baths to their former glory. The restoration process follows a 12 step process which takes approximately four weeks to complete. As well as offering a restoration service for their customers baths, they also have a showroom of newly refurbished baths to choose from.

Having worked on stately homes, privately owned hotels, with the Historic Building Trust and a number of house restorers Antique Bathrooms is an established name in a very niche market place.
