
Last night (16/04/19) the judges met in the library at Hartham Park to decide their award winners and finalists in the Techies Swindon & Wiltshire 2019.
The judging team made up of Kate Westbrook, Technology and Contracts lawyer for Thrings, Jack Maxton, Chief of Digital at Hartham Park, Paddy Bradley, Director of the Swindon & Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership, James Eades, Managing Director of Systemagic, Ali Hadavizadeh, Director, Acorn Biz Solutions, Mirabelle Mack, Swindon & Wiltshire SME Growth Project and Gabriella Cox, lead of the Open Call Competition for the Defence and Security Accelerator, had a hard task reviewing over 80 entries submitted from across the county.
James Eades said, “It was really tough to choose winners from such a strong field” and Kate Westbrook added, “I’m really proud to see the amazing work going on in tech in Swindon and Wiltshire and I’m just as proud to see us shouting about it too. Roll on awards night!”
Each finalist will receive a Finalist’s Certificate on Awards Night and each winner will receive a bespoke Techies Award. The finalists in each category are as follows:
