What time does your alarm go off?
Normally at 6.45am so that I can get my boys organised and ready in time for the school run.
What’s the most important part of your morning routine?
Having a cup of tea – I can’t start the day without one! Then making my various to-do lists for the day.
What do you do during your lunch break?
Lunch is usually on the go or in front of the laptop, but if I do have extra time I always try to go for a walk and listen to a podcast to give me some energy for the rest of the day.
What do you love most about your job?
I love that no two days are the same and that I am involved with all aspects of the business from making sure we are always doing the right things for our clients, to planning networking events or organising team meetings and posting content on social media. I love being involved with all the decision making for the business and having an impact on the strategy and direction of the company.
What’s the worst part of the job?
Completing all the various regulatory returns which can be a bit time consuming.
What gadget or app could you not live without?
Microsoft One Drive and Teams. Covid really forced us to be efficient with how we conduct business, and everything is so well organised in these apps.
What do you do after work?
After work usually involves sorting out the kids and doing homework, but when I get the chance, nice meals or walks with friends and then reading a good book!
If you changed direction, what would be your Plan B?
I love interior design and have been lucky enough to renovate our current home. I can’t get enough of Grand Designs-type of programmes, and I am always planning my next project!
