Adding spice to Old Towns nightlife

A new Swindon venue will add a little extra spice to the town’s nightlife when it opens its doors this week.

Kavali, an Asian inspired and themed night spot, will open its doors from 6pm on Friday night.

Situated at Hoopers Place in Old Town, Kavali will offer diners authentic Asian food in their downstairs Thali restaurant, with Thali best described as Asian tapas.

A huge selection of drinks will be on offer behind the bar including boutique beers and champagnes.

Kavali also offers guests the chance to sample their Shisha Terrace – tipped as the finest of its kind in Swindon. And Kavali has something for music lovers and clubbers too thanks to their resident DJ’s and dance floor in the upstairs bar, open until 2am on Friday and Saturday nights.

Friday’s opening takes place at 6pm and everyone is welcome with free admission on offer.

Kavali marketing manager, Pav, is excited about the launch, saying: “We are excited about the grand opening for Kavali.

“It’s not just a restaurant, bar or club but in fact a little bit of everything and we believe Kavali will quickly become the new venue to be seen at in Swindon.

“We have put a lot of work into decorating the venue in order to create a vibrant atmosphere.

“We’ve also tried to offer something a little bit different for our guests with our Shisha Terrace and Asian tapas.

“We have a fantastic dance floor and resident DJs for those who like to party hard, but for our guests who are a little more laid back we have some relaxing booths for them to chill out at.”

“The Thali food menu, boutique beers like Modelo Especial and Brooklyn Lager, new spirits such as Reyka Vodka and of course the Shisha terrace all offer a fantastic experience and night out for the people of Swindon.

“We are embracing some quirkiness in this venture and following brand whims like Hendricks Gin – so if people want to drink a Hendricks Gin and tonic poured from a tea pot in to a cup and saucer then Kavali is certainly the place to be”.

Kavali’s opening hours: Sunday to Thursday – 12pm till 2pm (bar and food); 5.30pm – 12am; Friday and Saturday – 12pm till 2pm (bar and food); 5.30pm till 2am.
