ActionCOACH teams up with Business Against Poverty for second round of the ‘Leverage Game’

By Nick Batten on 20 August, 2019

The team at a local branch of ActionCOACH is donating its services to Melksham-based charity Business Against Poverty to organise a second ‘Leverage Gameevent this October.

Peter Rolliston, business growth expert at ActionCOACH and organisers  of the event said, “The Leverage Game is the fastest and most powerful way to learn successful business secrets. The principles participants will learn will set them up for a lifetime of business success.”

In a similar way to Monopoly – where participants learn the ‘real estate game’ – players of the Leverage Game learn the ‘game of business’ with over 282 strategies to attract more customers, revenues and profits to their business. They will also learn 84 strategies to develop a high quality team that takes care of its customers and delivers products and services out on-time, within budget and consistently.

Val Huxley, Chief Executive Officer of People Against Poverty, told The Business Exchange, “The first event was very successful, and the attendees were blown away by what they were able to learn in such a fun way.

“We raised £450 for our project work which makes a huge difference for the families that we work with, but we want to go bigger and better for the next event! We had 27 people in total at the last event and we hope to double this.”

Speaking at the last event earlier this year, Emma McNally from financial planners Chase de Vere said,“We’ve had a wonderful time – good company and good hospitality. What an amazing way to meet new people, see new opportunities and raise money for a great charity.”

By attending and playing you will learn:

  • How the “5 ways” can impact the growth of your business
  • How to keep score in your business
  • How to consistently deliver and distribute your product/service
  • How staff development can change your business
