Accor, the leading augmented hospitality group, opened its doors this week to the company’s first hotel in partnership with First Inn Ventures – the new ibis budget hotel in Swindon.
The new build hotel boasts 73 en-suite bedrooms, all fully equipped with air conditioning and in-room entertainment. There is free Wi-Fi throughout and an onsite café bar serving coffees, locally sourced beverages and snacks, which both guests and those living in the local community will be able to enjoy.
ibis budget hotels are designed to offer excellent rates in central locations. They offer an urban, contemporary design featuring the new Nestconcept bedroom which includes the SweetbedTM, designed and created by ibis budget to provide guests with an excellent night’s sleep.
The hotel is the result of a new partnership between Accor and First Inn Ventures. ibis budget Swindon is located in the centre of the town and is close to attractions like the Steam Museum of the Great Western Railway, the Wyvern Theatre, Coate Water Country Park and Swindon Designer Outlet. The hotel is also just a six-minute walk from Swindon train station where guests can travel to London, Bristol and Cardiff directly.
