22 for ’22: Celebrating Swindon & Wiltshire’s Most Inspiring Women

By Anita Jaynes on 18 March, 2022

We’re celebrating Swindon and Wiltshire’s most inspiring women to mark International Women’s Day 2022 which this year took place on Tuesday 8th March.

Through our social media channels, we asked our readers which women in our community inspire them and created a list of 22 for ’22. The list is printed in our Feb/March magazine and from Tuesday 1st March, each weekday throughout the month we are profiling and championing each of these fantastic women online and via our social feeds.

Today we put the spotlight on Kathryn Roynon, Founder of Corsham-based KR HR Training & Consultancy.

Kathryn has worked in Human Resources since 2000, covering senior roles in recruitment, training and general HR management across various sectors.

A chartered member of CIPD and a fellow of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation Professionals, Kathryn now uses her experience to help local organisations in and around Wiltshire to achieve their goals by getting the best out of their most important asset: their people.

Her business KR HR was established to offer smaller businesses and charities access to the same strategic HR expertise as business leaders in larger organisations.

In December 2021, KR HR was named best HR & Training Consultancy at the national 2021 SME Business Elite Awards.

Kathryn is well-known locally for being an active and supportive member of the business community. She can often be found on Twitter during #WiltsHour on a Monday night.

Outside of work Kathryn is a busy mum and musician. She’s a violinist and member of Bath Symphony Orchestra.
