Entries for The Chippenham Business Awards – which are organised by Chippenham BID and sponsored by Alliance Pharmaceuticals Ltd – are now open.
The ceremony is the largest business to business event in Chippenham and has seen a huge growth in popularity since its debut in 2017.
All businesses within a five-mile radius of SN15 3HU are eligible to enter, and they can enter multiple categories. There is no fee, and entries are encouraged from businesses of all sizes and in all industries.
The awards is an opportunity for businesses to showcase what makes them unique, what they are proud of and how far they have come over the last year.
Manager of Chippenham BID, Kathryn Crosweller, said, “One of Chippenham BID’s aims is to promote the business opportunities available in Chippenham, showing that the town is a great location for new businesses and a good place for highly-skilled workers to seek employment. There is an enormous amount of diversity in the local area, and it is fantastic to be able to celebrate this through the Chippenham Business Awards.”
There is only one change to the entry categories this year; the introduction of ‘Micro Business of the Year.’
Kathryn continued, “One of the things Chippenham has in abundance is micro businesses, and most businesses start life with just one or two employees. We are looking forward to seeing entries from the smallest businesses in the area and pleased to provide this platform for them to promote themselves.”

The evening event, which will be held on 13th February 2020 at Neeld Community and Arts Centre, will start with a drinks reception sponsored by Huw Thomas Commercial, followed by a three-course dinner and then the awards ceremony.
