A one day working diary, from rise and shine to lights out.
New for 2016, every Tuesday we delve into the day-to-day diary of a member of the local business community. This week we put the spotlight on Lucie Hammond, private tax partner at the Swindon office of RSM.
What time does your alarm go off?
5.50am – I hate it!
What’s the first thing you do?
Breakfast for the dogs followed by a walk (in the dark), then feed the horses and finally me.
What do you do for lunch?
Very sad – cup a soup and fruit sat at my desk.
What do you love most about your job?
Getting to know people and help them get the most out of what they have and what they are trying to achieve.
What’s the worst part of the job?
Not having enough time to have lunch, and getting buried in boring emails.
What executive tool/ gadget could you not live without?
Very sad, but I would now be lost without my outlook diary and reminder system.
What do you do after work?
Cook/eat tea, walk the dogs, spend time with my girls ( aged 22 & 19). Yoga once a week – I love it!
If you changed direction, what would be your Plan B?
Perhaps a customs drug buster, or if I won the lottery I would own a string of show jumpers, not likely as I don’t do the lottery!
