Pebley Beach goes virtual

People looking for a new car in Wiltshire now don’t need to leave their seats to take a look at the latest Suzuki and Hyundai models as Pebley Beach has joined Google Street View Virtual Tour.

Google visited Pebley and took over 1,900 photos which have been knitted together to enable people to take a look inside the showroom and workshop, without needing to set foot outside.

Visitors can take a look at the wide range of cars on offer, including the ever-popular Suzuki Alto and Hyundai i10, as well as the new Suzuki S-Cross and can even get inside a Hyundai Santa Fe.

In just a few clicks, virtual visitors can also get a behind-the-scenes view of the Pebley Beach workshop and see the technicians hard at work. Budding mechanics can even see underneath a car and under the bonnet of a car being worked on.

Managing director of Pebley Beach, Dom Threlfall, said: “The Pebley Beach Google Virtual Tour allows anyone to come into our showroom and workshop at any time of the day, whether we’re open or not.  It’s a great tool to give potential car buyers a sense of what’s on offer at Pebley and how we like to do things – we’re not your traditional dodgy car salesmen as we’ve got nothing to hide, and the tour shows this.

“The tour photos were taken on a normal day for us, so there’s no added frills and you get to see everything – warts and all.

“You can also check out our wifi bar and free café area too – and if you bring your car into us for a service in ‘real’ life, you’ll also receive a lift across to John Lewis at Mannington Retail Park and a free voucher for a coffee there if you prefer.”

The Pebley Virtual Tour is available on Google Street View, just search for Pebley Beach Swindon and zoom in, or visit
