Inner Flame celebrates 10th Anniversary with Young Champions evening

Swindon-based charity, Inner Flame, is celebrating ten years of success this year. Its mission is to help disadvantaged young people (aged 16-25) to achieve their potential.

Inner Flame is working towards a world where every young person recognises their own value, sees their potential and what they can contribute to the world and feels confident to conquer whatever challenges come their way.

The charity is currently running programmes with young people in Swindon and Bath and is the local delivery partner for the Prince’s Trust TEAM programme, a 12-week course to develop essential skills required for employment and life.

To mark Inner Flame’s 10th anniversary on Friday April 20, their annual Young Champions evening is being made extra special with guest speakers Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards, the self-taught Olympic ski jumper, as well as Paralympian, Stephanie Millward.

James Threlfall from Inner Flame said: “We’d like to invite the local business community to join us for an evening of entertainment and inspiration, recognising the amazing young people in our community. With a three-course meal, special guests and live acts, we’re banding together for another year to support our young people have, to celebrate their successes, and to raise money for the charity.”

Throughout the evening, six young people that have participated in Inner Flame courses and have achieved great things will receive awards to recognise their success.

Tables of 10 are available from £500 per table, including a three-course meal. Further information can be found at www.innerflame.org.uk/young-champions-2018.

Smaller businesses or groups can book individual places on a “Business Networking” table.
