TBE TALK: How you can become a carbon neutral business

On Wednesday October 5, IT firm Systemagic is hosting a TBE Talk at their Waterhouse headquarters in Monkton Combe, Bath to discuss how you and your business can become more green.
Systemagic has recently achieved carbon neutral status and managing director James Eades hopes that if a tech-based business can manage to go carbon neutral, it might encourage other local firms to follow suit.
James said: “Being carbon neutral means that our business adds absolutely no extra carbon dioxide to the atmosphere in a normal year of trading. I have a young daughter so sustaining the environment is important to me and when I put my idea to the rest of the team everyone was happy to get on board.”
The event will take place between 7:30-9am and James will share with attendees the steps it took to make Systemagic carbon neutral, including how they calculated their omissions, how they worked on reducing them and what they invested in to achieve their goal.
The event is £10 and includes teas, coffees, bacon sandwiches and pastries.
